Embracing STEM Smarts: An Encouraging Guide for Young Ladies Who Have a Passion
The purpose of this book is to enlighten, inspire, educate, influence, equip and encourage young women to the possibilities of a STEM Career and not to be afraid of their STEM passions. This book is told from the perspective of young ladies through their own personal STEM journeys. This book illustrates how a passion for STEM at this young age should be emboldened vs. extinguished; encouraged vs discouraged. These young ladies have each embraced their STEM gifts and are walking boldly into their passion. This book is intended to be a catalyst for more young women to desire to have careers in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math; so that it will no longer be an abnormality but the norm.

She founded AMS Academic Solutions to share her gift of numbers and education that she has possessed since an early age. Alexis has been teaching mathematics for over 20 years, including 18 years as a college professor. She published one book in 2017 called “Embracing STEM Smarts: An Encouraging Guide for Young Ladies to be Bold in Their Intelligence.” Alexis will have two books coming out later this year involving her work in STEM.
